During the last visit of Favela Street in Haiti we met a group of girls in the community of Caradeux. Thanks to our local partner COCREAD we came into contact with these girls who wanted to organise a football tournament especially for girls, but could use some help on how to approach this.
We saw the perfect combination with the Sakala-group we trained in Cite Soleil and together with them we organized a workshop and tournament for a small group of girls, on how they can organise football-activities and tournaments in their own community. The result was a great tournament for over 30 girls and a group of young trainers that can now independently organise these activities for their community.
