Today Philip and three Favela Street coaches from Sakala gave a workshop about the power of role models at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce Haiti-Benelux. The coaches shared their story about being a role model for other youngsters in their community. Twenty young aspiring entrepreneurs from Port au Prince joined the workshop.
Philip shared the Favela Street story, coach Wilnis gave an exercise about conflict handling, coach Jodler did the lines game and coach Mischeba spoke about the special focus for girls in the Favela Street program and the importance of the position of a woman.
Favela Street and the Chamber of Commerce organized this workshop to give the Favela Street coaches the opportunity to share their story. One of the important components in the development of the coaches is story telling. What is my mission and how do I share my mission to gain support.
