During the workshop program in July, Roush from Humans of Willemstad made an awesome video with one of our coaches from the Favela Street Kòrsou team, Rogier Dorothea. Rogier is 18 years old and lives in Fuik. He explains how he works with Favela Street and how he organizes football activities together with the other coaches. “In workshops we learn how to work together, how to be a positive influence in the community and how we can organize activities” Rogier took the initiative to organize a small football tournament in his community. “I told my father I was going to organize a football activity and he said that I had to do my best and to make sure that everything would go smooth without fighting. Without Favela Street I wouldn’t organize this for my community, this makes me proud.”
