Favela Street developed an educational program for schools. In the program we bring the inspirational stories from our young Favela Street heroes to the students in the Netherlands. We are currently working for ROCTOP and ROC van Amsterdam West, with three groups of students for 8 weeks. We teach the students about positive thinking, believing in yourself and to keep on reaching for your dreams in life. Besides that we create awareness about a current issue; the refugee theme. We try to connect our students with young refugees in the Netherlands and start a dialogue on mutual respect and understanding.
